Story out of Utah:
A Utah state lawmaker has proposed a bill that would declare pornography a “public heath crisis” in the state – which leads the US in adult film rentals.
Republican State Senator Todd Weiler says adult films create a “sexually
toxic environment,” increases the demand for prostitutes, and destroys
families.
“I have read books and I have experts tell me pornography is harder to overcome than cocaine,” Weiler told the NY Daily News.
Weiler added that he wants to take on the “pornography epidemic that is harming the citizens of Utah and the nation.”
