A Florida man was arrested for allegedly trying to break into Indian River County Jail by driving his car into the front door and then trying to climb a fence.
Patrick Rempe, 24, admitted to deputies that he was high on a drug known as “Flakka” and that he wanted to visit his friends who were locked up in the jail, officials said.
He is currently under investigation and faces charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, battery on a law enforcement officer, three counts of felony criminal mischief, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and driving under the influence.
