A New York state assemblywoman was facing charges Sunday on allegations that she hit her 12-year-old son with a broomstick.
Assemblywoman Diana Richardson (D-Brooklyn) represents the 43rd Assembly District, which includes Crown Heights, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Wingate, and East Flatbush.
