Thief Shot In The Ass With Hunting Bow

Story out of Sydney, Australia:

A 68-year-old Sydney home owner has shot an alleged thief in the bottom with a bow and arrow as the robber tried to flee the scene of the crime, police say.

The elderly shooter and his wife were at their Wattle Grove home on Sunday night when the bandit broke in about 5.20pm, according to police.

The thief allegedly robbed the house of cash and took the couple's car keys then headed to the garage and started a Nissan X-Trail.

Meanwhile, the male resident armed himself with a hunting-style bow and arrow then confronted the thief in the garage.

The thief then made a run for it, fleeing the garage, climbing a fence and bolting into a neighbour's yard.

It's at this point that the 68-year-old showed off his archery skills, getting up on the fence with the bow and arrow then shooting the offender in the buttocks, police said.

Despite his injuries, the offender got away and officers are still looking for him. Cont.
