Lone Wolf Who Injected 'All Lives Matter' Into Canadian Anthem At MLB All-Star Game Is A Flat-Earther

Oh, what could have been. This guy would have been perfect for the Harper Conservatives. Story out of San Diego, California:

The pregame festivities before the 2016 MLB All-Star Game took a strange turn Tuesday night during the Canadian national anthem.

The anthem, which reportedly only aired in Canada since the American broadcast had gone to commercial, was song by The Tenors, a four-person Canadian vocal group.

The group was putting on a fine rendition until things went off the rails during the solo of member Remigio Pereira. During an otherwise normal performance of "O, Canada," Pereira surprised many by inserting "All Lives Matter" into a re-worked version of one of the verses.

The verse Pereira was supposed to sing is "with glowing hearts we see thee rise, the True North strong and free." Instead, Pereira sang, "We're all brothers and sisters, all lives matter to the brave."

Shortly after the performance, The Tenors released a statement on the performance, stating that Pereira was a "lone wolf" in inserting the controversial lyric -- known as a rebuff to the Black Lives Matter movement -- into the song. Pereira has also been suspended from performing with the group.

In the wake of his rogue lyricism, Pereira has drawn attention for his social media presence, particularly on Facebook. Pereira has made previous posts using the hashtag #alllivemater -- albeit in posts that appear to be decrying racism.

After Pereira's All-Star Game performance though, such a post is hardly surprising. What is surprising, though, is Pereira's tendency to share and post content that calls in line with the Flat Earth Conspiracy, which is an actual movement on the internet. Cont.
