2-Year-Old Dies After Suffocating Under Bean Bag Chair Teacher Sat On

Story out of West Jordan, Utah:

According to police, Danielle Sanchez's son Leonardo was underneath a bean bag chair when a daycare employee accidentally sat on him while reading a book to the rest of the children.

Leonardo suffocated under the chair.

"It just baffles me," Sanchez said. "Make me wonder. She must not have felt him. She must not have heard him."

Police are investigating surveillance video from inside the daycare. At this time, no one is facing charges.

Sanchez doesn't know how her son's death happened, and she's looking for answers.

"In my mind, my child is in your care, he suffocated under a bean bag," Sanchez said. "How does a 2-year-old - not even 2 - how does he get under a bean bag? Something happened - I don't know what." Cont. (Video)
