"It Was So Chaotic And Upsetting. I Couldn't Wait For It To Be Over" - Fight Turns Deadly In Walmart Parking Lot

Story out of Shawnee, Kansas:

One person is dead and two others are in the hospital after a shooting that occurred in a Walmart parking lot in Shawnee.

At about 1:27 p.m., officers arrived to the Walmart at 16100 West 65th Street and found several people injured.

One witness, who only provided his first name, saw men exchanging blows while making his way through the parking lot.

"There was two men on the ground fighting. I started honking my horn trying to get him to stop fighting," said Rob.

But, it didn't stop. That was when he noticed that the men were armed.

"It was so chaotic and upsetting. I couldn't wait for it to be over," Rob said.

A female victim was taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition after two suspects hit her in the back of the head while she was loading her infant into a car seat. She has been updated to good condition.

Major Dan Tennis of Shawnee Police Department said two Good Samaritans came to help the woman.

One of the Good Samaritans was shot multiple times. They were taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition.

The other Good Samaritan came over and shot and killed one of the suspects.

The second suspect fled and was apprehended by a K-9 team east of the Walmart. Cont. (Video)
