Watch Thames Pleasure Cruiser Plow Into Pier After Both Engines Fail

                  

Cruiser? I just met her. Story out of London, England:

Dramatic footage showed the pleasure boat hit a wooden pier at Canary Wharf with smoke billowing from the back.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident shortly after 4pm, and although three people were checked at the scene none were injured.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told the MailOnline: ‘We were called at 4.20pm to reports of a fire on board a boat near Canary Wharf Pier.

‘The boat was evacuated and all of those on board were brought to shore. There were no reports of any significant injuries.’

A Port of London Authority spokesman told the London Evening Standard that both of the boat’s engines had failed. Cont. (Video)
