Bernie Sanders Supporters Throw Chairs At Nevada Democratic Convention

Story out of Las Vegas, Nevada:

The Nevada Democratic Convention turned into an unruly and unpredictable event, after tension with organizers led to some Bernie Sanders supporters throwing chairs and to security clearing the room, organizers said.

Friction between Bernie Sanders' supporters and state Democratic Party leaders had flared throughout the day on Saturday. The convention was scheduled to end by 7 p.m. and when it hadn't wrapped up by 10 p.m., authorities at the Paris Las Vegas casino informed party organizers they could no longer provide the security necessary to handle the crowd.

The hostilities began when Sanders supporters accused state party leaders of putting them at a disadvantage, and they objected to procedural votes to approve the rules of the event on Saturday. They also questioned a credentials committee's disqualification of 58 would-be Sanders delegates. State party officials said the would-be delegates didn't provide acceptable identification and did not meet the May 1 deadline to register as Democrats. Cont.

Star Of "The Wire" Arrested After Getting Into Physical Altercation With Sanders' Supporters

In his defense, a select few Bernie Sanders' supporters act like toddlers, it's hard to not want to hit them upside the head. Story out of Atlanta, Georgia:

"The Wire" star Wendell Pierce was arrested Saturday after allegedly physically assaulting a woman supporting Bernie Sanders.

Sources at the Loews Hotel in Atlanta tell us the actor struck up a convo with the woman and her boyfriend at around 3:30 AM.  The talk turned political and Wendell -- a big Hillary Clinton supporter -- got upset when the woman declared her support for Bernie.

We're told Wendell -- who played Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in the HBO drama, "Confirmation" -- became enraged, pushed the boyfriend and then went after his girlfriend ... grabbing her hair and smacking her in the head.

Our source says the girl and her boyfriend went to their room and called hotel security, who then called cops. Pierce was arrested and booked for battery.  He posted $1,000 bond and was released. Cont.

Bernie Sanders Supporters Shut Down Hillary Clinton Event

Sanders made it clear he didn't want his supporters acting like this. This just proves that they have little to do with the candidate and just want to act like idiots. I'm allergic to stupid, and I can't stop sneezing.

Just days after Donald Trump sewed up the title of presumptive Republican presidential nominee, supporters of independent Vermont Senator and upstart Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders came out in force to disrupt a Hillary Clinton speech in Los Angeles, forcing her to end the event early. Speaking to a largely Latino crowd in Monterey Park, Clinton weathered interruption after interruption, and as the local ABC affiliate reported, the protesters being led out all had Bernie Sanders’ name on their lips.

This development comes as Sanders faces increasing pressure to bow out of what is now a nearly mathematically futile quest for the nomination in order to give Hillary Clinton a clear shot at Donald Trump. Sanders supporters are also in direct conflict with Senator Sanders’ stated wishes, at least when it came to disrupting Donald Trump events.

The fact that these Bernie Sanders supporters are ignoring his admonition is a sign that even if or when Bernie does decide to try and unite the Democrats, many of them may not go along. Cont. (Video)

POS Trump Supporter Refuses To Tow Disabled Woman's Car For Being A Bernie Supporter

He says in his defense, he is not a bigot but a Christian conservative, and history has proven those are completely different! Story out of Asheville, North Carolina: 

A local tow truck driver said he refused to tow a woman’s car after he saw Bernie Sanders stickers on the vehicle.

Kenneth Shupe said he was called to pick up a woman stranded on I-26 in Asheville on Monday.

When he saw “a bunch of Bernie Sanders stuff” he said he told the woman, “very politely,” that he could’t tow her car because she was “obviously a socialist” and advised her to “call the government” for a tow.

"Every business dealing in recent history with a socialist minded person I have not gotten paid," Shupe said. "Every time I deal with these people I get 'Berned' with an 'e' not a 'u'."

Shupe, who runs Shupee Max Towing in Travelers Rest, said he is a conservative Christian who supports Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Shupe said he has drawn a line in the sand not to do business with Bernie Sanders’ supporters.

The woman’s mother Kelle McWade posted an angry message on Facebook after the incident, calling Shupe a bigot.

A major point of contention between Shupe and McWade is her daughter's health. McWade said her daughter suffers from multiple health issues and claims Cassy had a handicap placard displayed inside her vehicle at the time of the towing debacle, but Shupe maintains he never saw it and did not know the girl was disabled. Cont. (Video)

Tattoo Artists In Vermont Are Giving Away Free Bernie Sanders Tattoo

Fans of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders are wearing their support for him on their sleeves — and on their rib cages, calves, necks and backs.

Several dozen people have flocked to Aartistic Tattoo in Montpelier, Vermont, to get a free tattoo of the senator, complete with his unkempt hair and thick-rimmed glasses.

The Burlington Free Press reports that the promotion began a week ago. Tattoo artist Chad Fay says it will run as long as Sanders does. Cont.

Investigators Are Trying To Determine If A Bullet Was Intended For Bernie Sanders

Story out of Las Vegas, Nevada:

A bullet hole was discovered in a storefront window at the Bernie Sanders campaign headquarters in northwest Las Vegas on Thursday morning, the same day the Democratic presidential candidate was on site, Metro Police said today.

Officers responded just before noon to the campaign office at 815 South Rainbow Blvd., near Alta Drive, authorities said. Police said it appears a bullet went through the window but declined to comment on whether a shot had been fired. Cont.

People Are Drinking Hot Sauce In Support Of Bernie Sanders

Some supporters of U.S. presidential candidate Bernie Sanders have decided they need to "feel the Bern" by either donating $3 to his campaign or swallowing a teaspoon of hot sauce in front of a camera.

Writer Wayne Gladstone spawned the #FeeltheBernChallenge earlier this week by posting a YouTube video in which he did both. He announced he would donate $3 US and drink a teaspoon of Frank's Red Hot sauce.

An earlier attempt popped up on Twitter in September, and then again in November. There's a Feel the Bern Challenge website, which has similar aims but asks you to eat a hot pepper before you explain your support. Cont. (Videos)
