Axl Rose Lets Fans In Mexico Take Out Their Frustrations On Trump Pinata At Concert
Story out of Mexico City, Mexico:
Guns N’ Roses‘ concert in Mexico City last night included a special guest … sort of. The band brought out a Donald Trump pinata onstage for fans to whack.
The show was the last in the group’s Latin America leg of its Not in This Lifetime Tour, so the band was in a somewhat playful mood. It didn’t hurt that the pinata gave many frustrated Mexican fans the opportunity to smack around one of the most reviled men in that region.
“Let’s bring in some people,” Axl Rose says in a video filmed by fans. “And give them a f—ing stick. I just want you to express yourself, however you feel.” After a fan starts to hit the pinata, Rose says, “He’s got it. Go ahead.”
Since he won the election last month, Trump hasn’t said much about the wall. But Mexico has insisted several times that it won’t pay for the wall if he plans to fulfill his campaign promise.
Trump also referred to Mexicans and Mexican-Americans as rapists and criminals. So there was plenty of aggression for the country’s Guns N’ Roses fans to work out onstage last night.
Rose is also no fan of the incoming president. Two weeks ago, he tweeted, “Do you ever stop whining? An apology? Seriously?! You won, this is the job, Get on with it or get out of the kitchen” in response to Trump’s demand of an apology from the cast of Broadway’s Hamilton, who called out Trump’s vice president-elect, Mike Pence, as he was leaving a performance. Jewish Mother Shocked To Find Swastika Decorated Cupcake At Her Daughter's Birthday Party
Story out of Phoenix Arizona:
Two tasteless teens tormented a Jewish girl on her birthday by decorating a cupcake with a chocolate swastika.
The girl’s shocked mother -- who lives in Arizona -- posted a photo of the disgusting dessert. The mom said two girls were responsible.
“It always happens ‘somewhere else’ or ‘not in my backyard.’ Well how about it happening right in YOUR OWN HOUSE? By your 14-year-old daughter's ‘friends,’” the mother wrote on Facebook, according to the Phoenix New Times.
The mother added that the girls have now apologized, putting it down to a very bad joke.
The New York Daily News reports that a new wave of anti-Semitism has rolled across America in the wake of Donald Trump’s election victory.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, there have been 867 documented occurrences of racial, religious, gender and nationality harassment -- including 100 against Jews in the 10 days after the election. Cont.

"I Voted For Trump" - Woman Goes On Racist Rant For Being Offered $1 Reusable Bag
Story out of Chicago Illinois:
The offer of a $1 reusable bag erupted into a meltdown by a woman who proclaimed she had voted for Donald Trump and was being discriminated against by African-American employees at a Chicago arts and crafts store.
Jessie Grady said she had just gone through the checkout line at Michaels and was standing at the exit showing her 2-year-old child a Christmas ornament. According to Grady, the customer, who is white, went into a “30-minute racist rant complete with yelling and cursing and repeated references to the fact that both employees were African-American."
The customer says in the video that the store associate was trying to “force me” into buying a reusable bag for her larger items.
“Yes, I voted for Trump, so there. You want to kick me out because of that? And look who won,” the customer said.
Grady said the yelling had been going on for several minutes before she started recording the confrontation on video because she wanted to document it for store employees to “keep them from getting in trouble for no reason” because “the customer is always right.” Cont.

"If He Wasn't My Father, I Would Spray Him With Mace" - Ivanka Trump Speaking Of Disgusting Father
A quote from Ivanka Trump surfaced Thanksgiving morning, showing her reaction to her father commenting on her appearance on a 2006 talk show.
Donald Trump, now the president-elect, has made numerous comments over the years regarding his eldest daughter's looks.
On Thanksgiving morning, journalist Sarah Kendzior tweeted out a remark from Ivanka Trump in an August 2006 "Quotables" section of The Chicago Tribune that revealed her reaction.
The 2006 quote came after an interview in which Trump said if Ivanka weren't his daughter "perhaps I'd be dating her." Vietnam Vet Sets Himself On Fire Over Trump Argument
Story out of Akron, Ohio
A Vietnam veteran in Akron, Ohio, set himself on fire Saturday after becoming frustrated with locals in a coffee shop for not protesting President-elect Donald Trump vehemently enough, ABC 5 News Cleveland reports. The unnamed 69-year-old walked into Angel Falls Coffee around 9:15 a.m. and began engaging with customers about the recent protests. While about 300 marched against Trump recently in the nearby city of Cleveland, and thousands nationwide, the vet thought the demonstrations should be larger. “He seemed to be pro-rally, against Trump and he talked to my customers about how people needed to protest more against Trump,” Angel Falls Coffee shop owner Jim King told ABC News 5 Cleveland.
Dressed in a U.S. Marine Corps uniform and becoming upset, the man then left the coffee shop and handed a passerby his phone requesting they begin recording. Things turned gruesome – the vet then grabbed a can of gasoline from his car, doused himself in it, and set himself on fire. While the passerby didn’t take the video, witnesses were able to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher. “He was curled in a fetal position, perfectly still except for some hand movement and he was completely covered in ash,” said King.
The vet was taken to a nearby hospital where he is currently being treated in the burn unit. He is expected to survive. Cont.

Man With 'Love Trumps Hate' Sign Sent Package Filled With Explosives
Story out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:
A man was injured early Tuesday when he opened a package containing an explosive device in his Center City apartment, police said.
Police Commissioner Richard Ross said the victim appeared to be the intended target.
Ross said the bomb squad described the explosive as a "victim activated device" that was sent specifically to the 60-year-old man, who triggered it when he opened the package in his home.
The victim apparently thought the package contained his asthma medication, Ross said. A motive was not immediately clear.
Ross did not know specifically what the explosive was made from, but said it caused injuries to the victim's face, chest, and hands, and that it could have started a fire inside the building.
The victim, whom Ross did not identify but said worked as a caterer, was reported in stable condition at Jefferson University Hospital.
Hours after the explosion, investigators remained at the townhouse, which has a rainbow "Love Trumps Hate" sign in the front window. Cont.

'It Was Getting Out Of Control' - Trumpanzees Target Wrong Hamilton On Twitter
Story out of Hamilton, Ontario:
After Donald Trump launched a Twitter broadside against the Broadway show "Hamilton," many of his supporters went on the offensive, too.
But some of them targeted the wrong Hamilton.
Their misdirected anger caused quite a surprise for Riane Leonard, who runs the Twitter account for Hamilton Theatre Inc., a small musical theater company in the Canadian province of Ontario.
When she noticed notifications popping up in the theater's Twitter account over the weekend, she initially thought it was people who had seen the company's current show, "The Toxic Avenger," on Friday night.
The real reason for the Trump supporters' ire was the message delivered by a cast member of "Hamilton" to Vice President-elect Mike Pence who attended the Broadway production Friday night. Actor Brandon Dixon told Pence that the cast hoped "this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us."
Leonard said that as she read through Twitter, she gradually pieced together the source of the confusion.
"These angry Americans had tagged us by mistake," she said. "But by this point, some of them were liking and retweeting. There was really no way of stopping them or correcting them. It was getting a little bit out of control."
The notifications clogging the Canadian theater's Twitter feed eventually turned from negative to positive after Canadian news organization CBC picked up the story. Suddenly, a new crowd of Twitter users were speaking out in favor of the little theater company.
"We've just gotten a massive outpouring of support from people -- not just in Hamilton, in America," Leonard said. "It's been so overwhelming." Cont.

Trump Demands Equal Time After Throwing Twitter Tantrum Over SNL
President elect Donald Trump can’t seem to let the booing of his running mate Mike Pence at a performance of ‘Hamilton’ go. Sunday morning he was up bright and early to tweet at the cast members of the sold-out play before turning on Saturday Night Live’s portrayal of him again.
According to Trump, the Tony award winning “Hamilton” is “highly overrated” and Saturday Night Live owes him “equal time” for mocking him.
I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It is a totally one-sided, biased show - nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 20, 2016
Actor Alec Baldwin, who has portrayed Trump on SNL, was quick to respond to the president-elect’s odd demand for “equal time”:

Trumpanzees Hilariously Boycott Starbucks By Buying $16 Coffee
Trump supporters are making a stand against Starbucks by spending money on coffee in the chain's shops and demanding baristas write "Trump" on their cups.
The movement — which comes to you by the hashtag #TrumpCup — accelerated Friday following an incident in a Miami branch of the coffee chain.
A white supporter of the President-elect was filmed earlier this week shouting at employees, complaining of racial discrimination and telling everyone in the store he voted Trump. The incident kicked off thanks to a delay in the making of his vanilla latte.
Trump supporters have had issues with Starbucks for some time. Some of the causes of anger have been the company's CEO Howard Schultz endorsing Clinton and the roll out of its less festive designs, which even triggered a call for a boycott from Trump himself.
On Thursday, a fan going by the name Baked Alaska on Twitter seized the moment to kick start Operation #TrumpCup, with two simple rules. First, go to Starbucks and tell them your name is Trump. Second, film the incident if they refuse to write "Trump" on the cup.
The idea of sticking it to Starbucks by giving them cash received mixed reviews. Cont. (Video/Autoplay)

"My New President Says We Can Kill All You Fa**ots Now" - Disgusting Trump Supporter Attacks Gay Man
Story out of Sarasota, Florida:
A Sarasota man says he was physically attacked just for being gay. It's just the latest in an explosion of hate based violence since the presidential election. And this victim says he's never been through anything like this attack.
Chuck Redding says he was followed home by someone after dropping off a friend and he believes that person targeted him all because of the stickers on the back of his car.
"This guy was extremely close to me. At first, I didn't think anything of it other than it was a jerk that was following too close," said Redding.
But as he turned onto his street, the SUV was creeping even closer.
"And I knew then something was wrong," Redding said.
He decided to park in front of a neighbor's house. Then, he says the other driver jumped out of his dark colored Jeep and came banging on his car window.
"He yanked the door open, dragged me out, ripped my shirt. I was on the pavement," said Redding.
His arm is now badly bruised, his hand cut and swollen to twice its normal size, his knee scraped, and part of his toe ripped. Redding says the driver had clearly taken note of his marriage equality and rainbow bumper stickers.
"He kept saying, 'You know my new president says we can kill all you faggots now,'" Redding said.
Redding's now taking action to protect himself. He and several friends are applying for conceal carry permits and encouraging others to do the same.
Chuck Redding filed a report with the Sarasota Co. Sheriff's Office, which is now investigating the incident. Cont. (Video)

'How Can I Stay On The Sidelines' - SpaceX's Head Of Communications Quits To Fight Trump "Nightmare"
It took a “nightmare” presidential election for Dex Torricke-Barton to leave what he described as his “dream career” in Silicon Valley.
The former head of communications for SpaceX, the rocket company helmed by Elon Musk, announced this week that he had left his job to focus on promoting social change. “We are seeing increasingly harsh social divisions emerging in the United States and in Europe, and I believe this poses a really fundamental threat to the future of our society,” Torricke-Barton told Fortune. “I didn’t see how I could stay on the sidelines.”
Torricke-Barton, the son of a refugee, said he had been considering a career change for a couple of years. In the 65 million refugees worldwide, he sees his late father, who was a refugee from Burma during World War II. The challenges his father overcame, he said, “are the things that millions of people around the world right now are experiencing.”
The events of the U.S. presidential election this year helped solidify Torricke-Barton’s decision.
“This has been an election marked by repeated attacks on immigrants, minorities, women, and many other communities,” Torricke-Barton wrote in a Facebook post announcing his departure. “I have always believed in an America that is confident and outward-looking, that works hard to drive the world to action on what matters most. Now, the loudest voices are calling for building walls between people.” Cont.

Trumpanzees Fall For Fake Story, Boycott Pepsi
The President-elect's supporters are threatening to boycott Pepsi over fabricated statements circulating on social media. Twitter users, many citing debunked news articles, claim PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi told Trump fans to "take their business elsewhere."
Sites designed to trick people, including Truthfeed and Gateway Pundit, published the fake quote while encouraging readers to stop buying Pepsi's products. Gateway Pundit also incorrectly claimed PepsiCo's stock plunged 5% because of the comment that Nooyi never actually made.
Nooyi never told Trump's supporters that Pepsi doesn't want their business and she even congratulated the president-elect on his victory. But she condemned the ugly rhetoric of the campaign.
PepsiCo would not comment on the threatened boycott, except to say that Nooyi was referring to "a group of employees she spoke to who were apprehensive about the outcome of the election." Cont.

American Institute of Architects Loses "Fritz" Read Over Their Bizarre Pledge To Work With Trump
Story out of Maryland:
A Maryland-based architect took the ultimate step to show his disagreement with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) over its November 9 statement about working with President-elect Donald Trump: He has resigned from the organization.
Frederick “Fritz” Read, the founder and principal of Read & Company Architects in Baltimore, Maryland, submitted his resignation last Thursday, after reading a statement from AIA Executive Vice President and CEO Robert Ivy about the outcome of the national election.
“The alacrity with which Robert Ivy hopped out there to promise the President-Elect that the AIA will play nice with his administration, without even a pro forma caution that what Mr. Trump has promised and threatened are deeply antithetical to the values that many of us cherish, is the final straw for me, the last bit of evidence I needed, that our only serious interest as an organization has become a craven interest in securing our piece of the action,” Read wrote to leaders of the Baltimore AIA chapter. “The AIA does not represent my personal or professional interests. Please consider this my resignation from the AIA, effective immediately, and remove both my name and that of my firm from your membership records. I am appalled.” Cont.

Woman Who Ran Into Hillary Clinton During Hike Receives Death Threats
Story out of Chappaqua, New York:
The Westchester County mom who grabbed a bittersweet picture of herself with Hillary Clinton, a day after the election, said Monday she’s been getting threats because of the viral snap.
Margot Gerster was out hiking in Chappaqua on Wednesday when she ran into the former secretary of state and Bill Clinton walking their dog on the same trail — leading to the popular, post-election image snapped by Bubba.
Reached by The Post and asked if she had received any threats via phone, mail or email, Gerster said, “yes,” but then refused to elaborate.
“I don’t want to discuss this anymore,” said Gerster, 30. “This story needs to go away. It got a lot of positive feedback from a lot of people, but I don’t want this to add on to this (blowback), I don’t want to fuel the fire.” Cont.

3 NBA Teams Stop Staying At Trump Hotels
According to Marc Stein and Zach Lowe of ESPN.com, the Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks have stopped or will stop staying at Trump-branded hotels in New York and Chicago this season "in part to avoid any implied association with the new president-elect."
Stein and Lowe cited sources who said an additional Eastern Conference team has elected to switch from the Trump SoHo in New York to a different property beginning next season.
This isn't the first time NBA teams or figures have expressed concern about Trump. Head coaches Stan Van Gundy of the Detroit Pistons, Steve Kerr of the Golden State Warriors and Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs all criticized the president-elect last week for his divisive campaign and rhetoric. Shoes.com Removes Ivanka Trump's Products After #GrabYourWallet Gains Momentum
It seems everyone disappointed with the outcome of the 2016 Presidential Election has their own way of voicing their displeasure.
Some have participated in full-blown, nationwide protests. Others are wearing safety pins as a sense of solidarity for those who feel vulnerable to a Donald Trump presidency.
The latest protest involves a boycott of businesses that support companies allegedly associated with President-Elect Trump. The campaign has been picking up steam on social media via the hashtag #GrabYourWallet. There's even a spreadsheet listing the nearly 50 businesses that should be boycotted.
Marketing strategist Shannon Coulter began the movement in late October with a boycott of Ivanka Trump's clothing line. It has since expanded to included businesses like Macy's, Amazon, Forbes.com, NASCAR, HSN, Nordstrom, Zappos and more.
Shoes.com was on the list, but has since removed Trump products from its site after the boycott began. Cont.

Jewish Leaders Strongly Condemn The Hiring Of White Nationalist Steve Bannon As Adviser
And others remain silent. I'm pretty sure this falls under the whole "first they came for... and I said nothing. Just say'in.
Jewish leaders have condemned President-Elect Donald Trump’s decision to appoint Steve Bannon, his campaign chief and head of the racist, misogynist, anti-LGBTQ, antisemitic site Breitbart News, to a senior adviser and strategist role in the White House.
In addition to hiring Bannon—whose site once labeled conservative pundit Bill Kristol a “renegade Jew,” and called for the Confederate flag to be flown proudly in the days following the 2015 massacre at a black church in Charlestown—Trump also appointed Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus his chief of staff.
“It is a sad day when a man who presided over the premier website of the ‘alt-right’—a loose-knit group of white nationalists and unabashed anti-Semites and racists—is slated to be a senior staff member in the ‘people’s house,'” said Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt in a statement.
The ADL’s condemnation comes just weeks after it published a report on the antisemitic targeting of journalists during the 2016 presidential campaign. Of the 2.6 million antisemitic tweets sent last year, 19,253 were directed at Jewish journalists, the ADL found.
In sworn affidavits, Bannon’s ex-wife Mary Louise Piccard, who claimed he choked her, said he refused to send his twin daughters to an elite Los Angeles private school because too many “whiny brat” Jewish students were enrolled there. Bannon has denied this. The late Andrew Breitbart, the site’s namesake, reportedly called Bannon the “Leni Riefenstahl of the Tea Party movement,” referring to the German director and Nazi propagandist. Cont.

Heil Trump - Church Vandalized With Swastikas, Anti-Gay Slurs
Story out of Bean Blossom, Indiana:
St. David's Episcopal Church in Bean Blossom was vandalized sometime Saturday night.
Vandals painted tags on the walls, depicting a swastika, an anti-gay slur and "Heil Trump."
The Rev. Kelsey Hutto, priest in charge at St. David's Episcopal Church, said she was disheartened after finding the graffiti on the walls of the church Sunday morning. But her next thought was more positive.
"Well, we must be doing something right," Hutto said she thought. "We stated one time that doing the right thing was not always the popular thing. We were targeted for a reason, and in our mind it was for a good reason."
Since Election Day, there have been more than 200 incidents of hateful harassment and intimidation across the country, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. And the rise in hate crimes since the election appears to be worse than what happened after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Richard Cohen, president of the Southern Poverty Law Center, told USA Today.
