ISIL-Affiliated Extremist Group Executes 100-Year-Old Man
Story out of Egypt:
Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis – ISIS-affiliated extremist group in Egypt – has released images purporting to show the execution of a 100-year-old man.
The group, who rebranded as ISIS-Sinai when they pledged allegiance to the extremist group holding swathes of Iraq and Syria, killed Sheikh Sulaiman Abu Haraz after kidnapping him earlier.
Pictures were posted on the Twitter accounts of the group's supporters. They showed one of the men, elderly with a white beard and kneeling in an orange jumpsuit with his neck pressed against a steel stand. Masked ISIS executioners dressed in black raised long swords over his head.
Locals identified the man as the blind Sufi sheikh Suleiman Abu Heraz, who was abducted two weeks ago from his farm south of the peninsula's town of el-Arish. The second man was identified as sheikh Said Abdel-Fattah, a top Religious Endowment cleric abducted a month ago. Cont.

20 Dead In Libya After Monkey Pulls Off Muslim Girl's Head Scarf
Story out of Sabha, Libya:
At least 20 people are dead after a pet monkey was let loose on a young girl by a group of three men.
The girl’s family sought revenge after the girl was bit and scratched last week and all three men were killed along with the monkey.
But then chaos descended on the city of Sabha, Libya, and many more were killed when it resulted in tribal clashes.
Bader al-Daheli, a civil activist, said that the two main tribes, Awlad Suleiman and Gadhadhfa, are each backed by armed groups. Abdel-Rahman Areish, the head of Sabha hospital, said 20 people have been killed and 50 wounded.
The monkey pulled off one of the girls’ head scarf, leading men from the Awlad Suleiman tribe to retaliate by killing three people from the Gaddadfa tribe as well as the monkey, according to a resident who spoke to Reuters.
During the latest clashes, which took place in the city center, initial attempts by tribal leaders to calm the fighting and arrange a ceasefire so that bodies could be recovered had failed, residents said.
Libya slid into chaos after the 2011 ouster and killing of longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi. Much of the country is effectively ruled by a patchwork of local or tribal militias. Cont.

“Rejoice With Support From Allah" - ISIL Ecstatic Over Trump Rise To Power
ISIS reacted to the news of Donald Trump’s election to the presidency with jubilation, although that elation may subside if Trump follows through on his avowed plan to team up with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Rejoice with support from Allah, and find glad tidings in the imminent demise of America at the hands of Trump,” wrote al-Minbar Jihadi Media, an ISIS-affiliated network, on their website, according to a report by The Washington Post. “Trump’s win of the American presidency will bring hostility of Muslims against America as a result of his reckless actions, which show the overt and hidden hatred against them.”
Even anonymous social media users were chiming in.
“9/11 was the beginning of the renaissance of the Muslim nation. 11/9 will be the beginning of the fall of the Satan (America) of this age,” wrote Khorasani, a social media user who also cited Trump’s open bigotry against Muslims as proof of American ignorance. Cont.

As the world waited Tuesday for Americans to choose their new president, a Middle East airline launched an advertising campaign that took a swipe at Donald Trump's original plan to ban Muslims from the U.S.
Royal Jordanian Airlines posted a promotion on social media urging customers: "Just in case he wins... travel to the U.S. while you're still allowed to!"
The airline, which flies from Muslim-majority Jordan to New York, Chicago and Detroit, launched the campaign as millions went to the polls across American to choose between Trump and Hillary Clinton. Cont. (Video)

Imam Murders Man Over Cartoon Facebook Post
I mean, as an outsider, one would think the Koran is just a list of cartoons it hates. And oh, does it hate cartoons.
Story out of Amman, Jordan:
56-year-old Nahed Hattar, a Jordanian writer and Christian-turned-atheist, was assassinated in the capital city of Amman, apparently in response to posting this cartoon (or a version of it) on his Facebook wall — a cartoon he later deleted and apologized for. It shows a man in paradise, in bed with two women, treating God as a servant.
He was heading to the Supreme Court for a preliminary hearing on charges of offending Islam (over the same cartoon) when he was killed by a man since identified as Riad Abdullah, a local imam.
If the purpose of the cartoon was to show just how demented the beliefs of Islamic terrorists were… well, they proved his point, didn’t they? It’s not just the warped idea of martyrdom leading to glory in the afterlife, it’s the belief that any criticism of their beliefs is a crime worthy of death. Cont.

Man Stabbed 8 At Minnesota Mall While Referencing Allah Before Being Shot
This doesn't seem to be directly related to middle eastern terrorism, but when new information is available, Allah get back to you.
Story out of St Cloud, Minnesota:
A knife-wielding suspect dressed in a private security uniform made references to Allah while attacking at least nine people during a mass stabbing incident at a Minnesota shopping mall, authorities said. He was shot dead by an off-duty police officer.
At a news conference Sunday, FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Rick Thornton said the attack was being investigated as a possible act of terrorism and that agents were still digging into the attacker's background and possible motives. Authorities were looking at social media accounts and the attacker's electronic devices and talking to his associates, Thornton said.
An Islamic State-run news agency, Rasd, claimed Sunday that the attacker was a "soldier of the Islamic State" who had heeded the group's calls for attacks in countries that are part of a U.S.-led anti-IS coalition.
It was not immediately clear if the extremist group had planned the attack or even knew about it beforehand. IS has encouraged so-called "lone wolf" attacks. It has also claimed past attacks that are not believed to have been planned by its central leadership.
Authorities didn't identify the attacker, but the Star Tribune of Minneapolis said the man's father identified him as Dahir A. Adan, 22. Speaking to the newspaper through an interpreter, Ahmed Adan, whose family is Somali, said his son was born in Africa and had lived in the U.S. for 15 years.
Ahmed Adan said police told him around 9 p.m. Saturday that his son had died at the mall, and that police had raided the family's apartment, seizing photos and other materials. He said police said nothing to him about the mall attack, and that he had "no suspicion" that his son had been involved in terrorist activity, the newspaper reported. Cont.

Muslim Woman Set On Fire In New York
Story out of New York City, New York:
A 36-year-old Scottish tourist wearing traditional Muslim garb had her blouse set on fire in a bizarre incident outside a pricey Fifth Ave. boutique, police sources said Monday.
The victim noticed the sleeve of her blouse was charred and smoldering in the Saturday night attack, just hours before the ceremony marking the 15-year anniversary of 9/11. She was not badly hurt.
But the attacker got away, and the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is trying to determine if the incident was motivated by bias toward Muslims.
She felt heat on her arm, a police source said, and realized her blouse had been set on fire.
The suspect was last seen strutting and swinging his arms along E. 54th St. just minutes after the fire attack. Surveillance footage shows the man was wearing a tank top, pants and a backwards hat — all black. Cont.

Dozens Of Armed Sikh Men Storm Temple Protesting Interfaith Marriages
Dear religion... die in a fire. Sincerely, sanity.
Story out of Leamington, England:
Up to 55 masked men occupied the entrance to a Sikh temple in Leamington Spa in what appears to have been a protest against an interfaith marriage between a Sikh and a Muslim.
Warwickshire Police said those involved were arrested after an eight-hour standoff, and a "significant number" of bladed weapons were confiscated from the scene.
The incident began at around 6.45am on Sunday morning, when a group of young men - intially reported to number between 20 and 30 - entered the gurdwara on Tachbrook Drive and sat down, refusing to leave.
Police described the men as having “bladed items”, in what is believed to be a reference to the ceremonial daggers carried by Sikh men, and later said a "significant number" of such items were confiscated during the arrests.
Sikh Youth Birmingham claimed to have up to 100 people involved in the protest, both inside and outside the gurdwara.
One protester broadcast a Facebook Live video from among the wedding guests at the gate, where tensions were clearly high.
At one point, the man filming can be heard saying: “These lot don’t even know that I’m against them”, and at another he points the camera towards the temple, saying: “Leamington Gurdwara, allowing interfaith marriages. Sikhs and Muslims, it’s messed up.” Cont. (Video/Autoplay)

"You're Not Supposed To Be Different From Us" - Deranged Trump Supporter Physically Assaults 2 Muslim Women And Their Children
With a name like Emirjeta Xhelili, yelling 'get out of the US' takes some cojones, or xohones. Story out of New York City, New York:
A woman yelling anti-Muslim sentiment allegedly attacked two Muslim women as they pushed their children in strollers in New York, authorities said.
Emirjeta Xhelili, 32, allegedly tried to rip the hijab from the women's heads during the attack in Brooklyn on Thursday.
She struck the women in the face and body, and repeatedly shouted, "this is the United States of America, you're not supposed to be different from us," court documents allege.
Xhelili allegedly told the women, "get the (expletive) out of America (expletive), you don't belong here."
She also attacked their children, pushing one stroller to the ground and rattling the other while two infants sat inside, according to court documents. The 11-month-old and the 15-month-old, along with their mothers, were not seriously injured.
During an arraignment Friday, the Brooklyn District Attorney's office described the incident as a hate crime, charging her with offenses including assault, reckless endangerment of a child and harassment, according to court documents. Cont.

Disgusting Egyptian MP Defends 'Female Genital Mutilation' By Suggesting Egyptian Men Are "Impotent"
An Egyptian MP has stirred controversy after rejecting tougher penalties for those who force women into genital mutilation (FGM), saying half of the country's men "are impotent."
Parliament last week approved longer jail terms for those carrying out FGM, following the death of a teenage girl.
MP Ilhami Agina responded by saying FGM was needed in order to reduce women's sexual appetite, to match Egypt's men.
The procedure is still widespread in Egypt despite being illegal since 2008.
He was quoted by other Egyptian media as saying the procedure was needed so women would "reduce their sexual desires" to match that of Egypt's "sexually weak" men.
"If we stop FGM, we will need strong men and we don't have men of that sort." Cont.

'Death To Gays' Islamic Preacher Imprisoned For 5 Years After Pledging Allegiance To ISIL
The hardline Islamic preacher is the former UK head of the Islamist group al-Muhajiroun or Islam4UK, which was banned in the UK in 2010.
He suggested at a press conference in 2009 that gay people should be stoned to death, and has maintained that stance since.
Choudary, who frequently causes controversy with his extremist views and high-profile protests, had faced charges under terrorism laws for calling on social media for people to support ISIS.
He was charged alongside Mohammed Rahman, 32, of Whitechapel, east London, with one offence under section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000, which bans people from “inviting support for a proscribed organisation."
Today, Mr Choudary was jailed for five and a half years after backing the group in an oath of allegiance published online. Cont.

Man Shouting "Allahu Akbar" Fatally Stabs Woman, Dog
Story out of Home Hill, Australia:
A French man shouting the Arabic phrase "Allahu akbar" stabbed a British woman to death and wounded two men in an attack at a hostel in northeast Australia, police said Wednesday.
The 29-year-old suspect did not have any known links to the Islamic State group and appeared to have acted alone, Queensland Police Deputy Commissioner Steve Gollschewski said. Police were trying to determine whether the man had been motivated by extremism, or something else.
"While this information will be factored into the investigation, we are not ruling out any motivations at this early stage, whether they be political or criminal," Gollschewski told reporters in the Queensland state capital of Brisbane. "Investigators will also consider whether mental health or drug misuse factors are involved in this incident."
The attack took place Tuesday night at a hostel in the town of Home Hill, south of Townsville in northern Queensland. A 21-year-old British woman was found dead at the scene and a 30-year-old British man was hospitalized in critical condition. A local man was treated and released for injuries. A dog was also fatally wounded in the attack.
The man, a French national visiting Australia, shouted "Allahu akbar" — the Arabic phrase meaning "God is great" — both during the attack and while being arrested by police, Gollschewski said. He has not yet been charged, but police weren't looking for any other suspects related to the incident.
Police were treating the attack as a homicide, rather than a terrorism-related incident, Gollschewski said. Cont.

Egyptian Police Using Grindr To Hunt Gay Men
Authorities in the country have reportedly been using gay dating apps to find and detain members of the LGBT community, The Jerusalem Post reported.
According to lifestyle and entertainment magazine CairoScene, a source close to the city's LGBT community claimed apps such as Grindr are “jeopardising the safety” of many of their members.
The unnamed source said authorities are using the technology to pinpoint the location of users.
They said: “There have been a number of arrests in the last few months linked to these applications.
The personal photographs uploaded by users to their dating profiles makes them easily identifiable to police, it was reported.
Homosexuality is not banned in Egypt but members of the country’s LGBT population have reported experiencing hostility.
Earlier this month Egypt’s grand mufti Shawki Allam said hurting gays and lesbians is “unacceptable.” Cont.

After Three Women Fined Under France's Berkini Ban, Wealthy Businessman Pays Fines
If the French treated Muslim men the way they treat Muslim women, maybe they would actually prevent an attack.
A wealthy businessman has paid fines imposed on three women who defied France’s burkini ban, and also offered to pay for other people charged under the new law.
Rachid Nekkaz, a real-estate entrepreneur of Algerian descent, said he personally opposes the burkini and niqab, but believes that within a democracy nobody has the right to prevent another person from wearing the clothing they choose. “Provided that this clothing is not a threat to freedom of others or the security of the territory.”
“As soon as I see that France is not respecting fundamental liberties, I always get my cheque book out," he said. Cont.

Suicide Bomber As Young As 12 Kills 51 At Kurdish Wedding
Story out of Gaziantep, Turkey:
A day after a suicide bomber attacked an outdoor Kurdish wedding party in southeastern Turkey, killing at least 51 people and wounding dozens, the Turkish president says the assailant was with the group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and as young as 12.
The bombing late Saturday in Gaziantep, near Turkey's border with Syria, was the deadliest attack in Turkey this year.
Turkey has been rocked by a wave of attacks in the past year that have either been claimed by Kurdish militants linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party — known by its acronym PKK — or were blamed on ISIS. In June, suspected ISIS militants attacked Istanbul's main airport with guns and bombs, killing 44 people. A dual suicide bombing blamed on ISIS at a peace rally in Turkey's capital, Ankara, in October killed 103 victims. Cont.

"We Blame Donald Trump For This" - Imam Shot And Killed In New York
NYPD think this could be related to a robbery and not a hate crime.
But this is what that Orange Testicular Wart's legacy is going to be.
Not slum lord towers, not ecosystem destroying golf courses, not his... steaks in an electronic store!? (I still can't get over that one) Not his idiot sons, no, his legacy will be stories like this.
Whenever in the future some maniac goes on a rampage or kills out of hate, there's only one name that will come to mind. TRUMP.
Story out of Queens, New York:
A lone gunman executed a revered Queens imam and his friend as the pair walked home from Saturday prayers, blasting each in the back of the head without a word, officials said.
Mosque leader Maulama Akonjee and friend Thara Uddin were dressed in Muslim garb when the killer “approached from behind and shot” from point-blank range, said NYPD Deputy Inspector Henry Sautner of the Queens South Detective Bureau.
Akonjee, 55, a married father of three, was a respected religious leader since his arrival in Queens from Bangladesh less than two years ago. Uddin, 65, died about four hours after the attack.
Scores of worshipers from the mosque gathered within hours at the murder scene to denounce the cold-blooded ambush as a hate crime.
“That’s not what America is about,” said local resident Khairul Islam, 33. “We blame Donald Trump for this . . . Trump and his drama has created Islamophobia.” Cont.

Man Yelling "Allahu Akhbar" Killed In Belgium After Injuring Two Cops With Machete
Story out of Charleroi, Belgium:
Two female officers were attacked and wounded by a man wielding a machete and shouting "Allahu Akhbar" outside the main police station in the Belgian city of Charleroi on Saturday, police said.
The assailant was shot by a third officer and later died of his wounds, authorities said. The attacker's identity and motive were not immediately known, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said, but added the "first indications" suggested it was an act of terrorism.
Belgian Interior Minister Jan Jambon said it wasn't immediately clear whether the assault, which he denounced as an "act of barbarism" was the deed of a single person or something more elaborate.
Belgium has been at Level 3 on a four-point terrorism alert scale since the attacks in Paris on Nov. 13 that killed 130 victims. Many of the Paris attackers, who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group, lived in Belgium. Cont.

“Suspicious Behaviour” - Muslim Woman Detained For Reading Book About Syria
'Excuse me ʾImām, you're going to have to leave the plane.' Story out of Finningley, England:
Free-speech groups have condemned the detention of a British Muslim woman after a cabin-crew member reported her for “suspicious behaviour” while reading a book about Syrian culture on a flight to Turkey.
Faizah Shaheen, a psychotherapist in Leeds, was detained by police at Doncaster airport on 25 July, on her return from her honeymoon in Turkey. A Thomson Airways cabin-crew member had reported Shaheen on her outbound flight two weeks earlier, as she was reading the title Syria Speaks: Art and Culture from the Frontline.
Police officers questioned Shaheen for 15 minutes under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act, under which the police can detain individuals without grounds for suspicion of involvement in criminal activities, including terrorism.
Shaheen, whose work in the NHS includes efforts to stop radicalisation among young mental health patients, told the Independent she intends to make formal complaints against the police: “I was completely innocent – I was made to feel like a culprit … I couldn’t understand how reading a book could cause people to suspect me like this. I told the police that I didn’t think it was right or acceptable. I do question if … it would be different if it was someone who wasn’t Muslim.” (Dhuhr) Cont.

"I Was Determined Either To Kill Myself Or Kill Her" - Brother Of Slain Pakistani Social Media Star Admits Killing Her For "Family Honour"
What would happen to you if you used A Snapchat filter on a picture of Muhammad? Well, first you would need a picture of Muhammad, then a mortician. Story out of Multan, Pakistan:
The brother of slain Pakistani model Qandeel Baloch on Sunday confessed to strangling her to death for "family honour" because she posted "shameful" pictures on Facebook.
Baloch, who had become a social media celebrity in recent months, stirred controversy by posting pictures online taken with a prominent Muslim cleric. She was found dead on Saturday at her family home in the central city of Multan.
Police arrested her brother, Waseem Azeem, and presented him before the media in Multan, where he confessed to killing her. He said people had taunted him over the photos and that he found the social embarrassment unbearable.
"I was determined either to kill myself or kill her," Azeem told The Associated Press as he was being led away.
He said that even though Baloch was the main breadwinner for the family, he slipped her sedatives the night before and then strangled her in her sleep.
Nearly 1,000 women are murdered in Pakistan each year for violating conservative norms on love and marriage. The so-called "honour killings" are often carried out by family members.
Such killings are considered murder. But Islamic law in Pakistan allows a murder victim's family to pardon the killer, which often allows those convicted of honour killings to escape punishment.
She had shot to fame and notoriety through social media postings that would be considered tame by Western standards but were seen as scandalous by many in deeply conservative Pakistan.
A video of her dancing to a popular rap song was widely circulated, and at the time of her death she had 40,000 followers on Twitter and 700,000 on Facebook. In postings and public comments, she presented herself as a symbol of female empowerment. Cont.
