Story out of Dymchurch, England:
A father has been jailed after he punched his baby son in the face because he was told he couldn’t go to an amusement arcade.
Lee Merrett, 23, hit his crying nine-month-old son after necking a bottle of Jack Daniels. (I think that means drinking)
He also hit his girlfriend 20 times while the family was on holiday at a caravan park in Dymchurch, Kent. Merrett had said he wanted to go to an amusement arcade, but the baby’s mother asked him to stay with her and the child.
They started arguing so he hit his girlfriend, threw an aerosol can at her, then punched the baby leaving him with a swollen black eye. He then headbutted the woman before she managed to escape.
Police found Merrett hiding under the caravan and he was arrested. He was jailed for 15 months and the relationship is now over. Cont.
