Gives new meaning to the mother-in-law from hell. Story out of Powder Springs, Georgia:
Friends and family are mourning the death of a kindergarten teacher and mother, allegedly shot and killed inside her Powder Springs home by her mother-in-law.
Police say they found 35-year-old Jenna Wall dead inside a home in the 6000 block of Wyndham Woods Drive Thursday morning. She was a teacher at Kemp Elementary School in Powder Springs, and by Friday afternoon flowers had been placed on school grounds in her memory, as well as at the door of her home.
Police say Wall's two children, ages 7 and 8, were inside the home when she was shot. They were not harmed.
Police say they also found 63-year-old Elizabeth Wall, the victim's mother-in-law, in the home. She was arrested without incident and charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony and cruelty to children.
According to the Paulding County district attorney, Jenna Wall's estranged husband, who is an investigator with the district attorney's office, left work to respond to the scene after he was called by police. The kids in the house were his, according to the district attorney, who added that Jenna Wall and her husband had been separated for a year. They were in the process of divorcing. Cont.
