"Y’all See A Gay Club Shooting As A Horrible Tragedy. I See It As Someone Doing Community Service" - Walmart Fires Employee For Hateful Tweet
#ThankYouKobe... Just the right amount of dumb.
Walmart has reportedly fired an employee who said on Twitter that the mass shooting at Orlando Pulse nightclub – which left over 100 casualties – was ‘someone doing community service.’
The man whose Twitter handle was @IWillTryLater wrote this following tweet on Sunday afternoon after news of the horrific tragedy broke:
‘Y’all see a Gay club shooting as a horrible tragedy. I see it as someone doing Community Service.’
Some netizens quickly screenshot-ed his comment and his Twitter profile, which said that he’s from Marietta, Georgia.
Walmart has since sent out a response saying, ‘We don’t tolerate this kind of behavior, He no longer works for Walmart. Our hearts go out to all affected by the Orlando tragedy.’
The original Twitter page has been deleted and then taken over:
"Since the original user deleted it, this account has been turned into a memorial against hatred spread on." — IWillTryLater (@iwilltrylater) June 16, 2016 Cont.
