Smell test, which is worse? This apartment or Jeffrey Dahmer's? Story out of West New York, New Jersey:
A mother and daughter were arrested in New Jersey after police say they found 87 cats and dogs in their small apartment.
One official says the cats were in cages covering a 12-foot wall and the dogs were hiding in closets.
Police say the two women were taking money in exchange for keeping unwanted animals.
They're now facing 86 counts of animal cruelty
West New York Mayor Felix Roque says the animals were suffering.
"The place is disgusting," he said. "The condition of the animals was terrible - dehydration – very, very sick animals. You're talking about a room approximately 9 by 9 with approximately 82 cats, five dogs in the worst condition I've ever seen. The smell was just horrendous." Cont. (Video)
