Man Arrested After Breaking Into Home And Painting Dog Purple
Story out of Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts:
Police arrested a man on a string of charges Saturday afternoon after he allegedly broke into a house and painted a dog purple, according to a post on the Oak Bluffs Police Department Facebook page.
Police charged Felix Reagan with breaking and entering in the daytime with the intent to commit a felony, larceny of a motor vehicle, destruction of property, cruelty to animals, possession of a class A substance, possession of a class E substance and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, according to the post.
At about 2:30 p.m., police responded to Firehouse Lane for a report that a stolen vehicle had crashed and the suspect was fleeing on foot. About 10 minutes later, officers responded to a residence on Pinewood Lane where the resident had arrived home to find a first-floor window forced in, items stolen and their dog painted with purple paint, according to the post.
