Homeless Man Decapitates Friend Who Helped Him Find Work At Repair Shop

Story out of Houston, Texas:

Detectives think Raymond Jackson, Jr. knows what others cannot imagine: the motivation behind a brutal beating and decapitation of a southeast Houston repair shop owner.

Jackson, Jr. has been charged with murder.

“How and why,” said Connie Castillo, a close family from of Andy Kord, the victim.

Kord’s friends said Jackson, Jr. often came to Kord for food, money and work. According to police, Jackson, Jr. also hung out in the Sunnyside area where he rode his bike and buses near Cullen and Bellfort.

Off-camera, his ex-wife told KHOU 11 News that she had not seen Jackson in “a while.” Others insist Jackson, Jr. was homeless.

“We’re constantly kind of spinning our wheels with many of these clients until we can get them into some kind of permanent housing,” said Charity Dominguez, outreach manager for SEARCH.

Dominguez, who spends most days trying to find permanent homes for people on the street, doesn’t know Jackson, Jr.

While there is no evidence Jackson, Jr. ever needed treatment for mental illness, his apparent need for help from Kord makes Jackson Jr.’s arrest more puzzling for loved ones. Cont. (Video/Autoplay)
