Olivia Wilde Tells Howard Stern She Was Rejected From 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' For Being Too Old

At the ripe “old” age of 32, actress Olivia Wilde was reportedly too long in the tooth to play Leonardo DiCaprio‘s love interest in the 2013 movie The Wolf of Wall Street.

Wilde revealed to radio host Howard Stern that she actually auditioned for the role of Naomi Lapaglia, wife to DiCaprio’s Jordan Belfort character, but was rejected.

At the time of shooting Wilde was 28 and DiCaprio was 37 — a difference of 9 years, while the actress eventually cast in the role, Margot Robbie, was 22, which is a 15-year gap. Cont.
