A mother made up 13 fake children in an 18 month period - including three sets of twins - to claim thousands of pounds in benefits.
Rebecca Jones was legitimately claiming tax credits for two children but decided to try her luck telling the authorities she had an extra 13 youngsters.
And over the space of just 34 days she added a staggering seven of those 13 children to the benefits claim allowing her to pocket an extra £10,000 in benefits.
Jones, 32 , of Wythenshawe, south Manchester, pleaded guilty to knowingly being concerned in the fraudulent payment of tax credits, and appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court today. Cont.
