Story out of Raleigh, North Carolina:
When dozens of protesters showed up in Raleigh Friday, they were not empty handed. In fact they brought Governor Pat McCrory a present, a portable toilet.
The portable toilet was dropped off on Capitol grounds Friday afternoon. It’s in response to the passing of House Bill 2. Part of the legislation overturned the Charlotte ordinance that would allow transgender people to use the bathroom of the sex they identify with.
The woman who organized Friday’s demonstration is from Asheville. She says the whole thing started off as a joke on Facebook, but soon took off. Cont. (Video/Autoplay)
