Photographer Horrified After Discovering Woman Who Wanted A Photo Of Herself And A Ghost Image Of Her Dead Daughter Arrested For Filicide

Story out of Fayetteville, North Carolina:

A Pennsylvania photographer is furious after creating photos of a Fayetteville mother with her deceased daughter after the mother was charged with first-degree murder.

Jeanie Ditty, an active soldier at Fort Bragg, was arrested Thursday and charged in the murder of 2-year-old Macy Grace. Also charged is Ditty’s boyfriend, Zachary Keefer.

Both are charged with first-degree murder and negligent child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury. Macy Grace was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital on Dec. 2 and died at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill Dec. 4.

Ditty had reached out to Sunny Jo, a photographer in Pennsylvania who creates portraits of family members with their deceased loved ones. In this case, Jo said, Ditty reached out for photos with her daughter earlier this year.

“I felt so bad for the grieving mother that I decided to do $500 worth of work for free because of the situation,” Jo wrote.

The touching images Jo created showed Ditty with an angelic Macy Grace, created through special effects, in the graveyard. Cont.
