Staten Island "Ninja Burglar" Revealed After Committing Crimes For 10 Years

Story out of Staten Island, New York:

The Staten Island ninja burglar has been unmasked as a convicted rapist who broke into over 100 properties — at times spying on people while hiding in their homes, authorities announced Wednesday.

On top of that, Robert Costanza, 46, served time for a string of rapes in Florida and one in New York in 1989, and is a registered sex offender.

Costanzo, who was arrested last year, admitted to the cunning burglaries over the course of 10 years — including dozens in the tri-state area — in which he swiped $4 million in cash, jewelry, watches and other valuables, Staten Island District Attorney Michael McMahon said.

“The ninja burglar case has finally been solved,” McMahon said. Cont.
