Story out of Nashville, Tennessee:
A woman has been charged with neglect after allegedly leaving her small child inside a hot car while she went in a strip club.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, officers were called to a strip club on Demonbreun Street Thursday afternoon after they received reports that a 9-month-old child was in a car.
Police arrived on the scene shortly after 4 p.m. and found a child inside a car with the windows rolled up. They went inside and asked to whom the baby belonged.
When the child was removed from the car, police said she was found to be wearing a coat and was drenched in sweat. It was reportedly 72 degrees outside at the time.
The young girl was taken to an area hospital to be checked out. She was placed into the custody of the Department of Children’s Services. Cont.
