Sacramento Kings Player Arrested For Domestic Abuse
Gee, how can you tell the off season has started for a lot of these guys? Story out of Placer County, California:
Sacramento Kings point guard Darren Collison was arrested on a domestic violence charge.
Collison, 29, was booked into Placer County Jail on one count of inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant and two misdemeanor bench warrants of driving on a suspended license.
CBS13 has learned the alleged victim is Collison’s wife.
Collison was arrested on early Monday morning after deputies responded to a report from a woman who said she was being assaulted inside a Granite Bay home.
Collison signed a three-year, $16 million deal with the Kings in the 2014 offseason. That contract runs through the end of next season and would pay him more than $5 million this season. Cont. (Video/Autoplay)
