Man Arrested After Holding Gun To Bikini Clad Barista

He went into the Dollar Store with thousands in cash... that's a lot of gummy worms. Story out of Modesto, California:

A Modesto man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly held a gun to the head of a barista at the Pink Pantherz Espresso in south Modesto.

The suspect was a regular at the drive-thru coffee shop on Crows Landing Road, which features baristas who serve coffee in their bikinis.

 He’d been to the business two times Sunday when he returned a third time with a gun, said Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Heather Graves.

He pointed the gun at the barista’s head and threatened to kill her.

The victim stayed calm and told the suspect she had to help another customer, who was at the drive-thru window on the other side of the business, Graves said.

She turned away and the suspect went to the Family Dollar store next door.

She called police and officers arrived as the suspect was returning to Pink Pantherz.

Officers detained and searched the suspect. He was in possession of a loaded firearm, brass knuckles, a knife and thousands of dollars in cash, Graves said. Cont.
