Man Arrested For Smoking On Plane


We've come a long way, baby. Story out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan:

A 20-year-old man from South Korea was taken into custody on Saturday after reportedly lighting up on a commercial airline during a flight from Calgary to Saskatoon.

Shortly after 3 p.m. CT, police were called to the Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport.

Officers were told a man entered a lavatory on an aircraft and was smoking a cigarette.

Saskatoon police said investigators will be consulting with federal authorities to make a determination on what charges are most appropriate. Cont.
