Slipknot Joins Equality North Carolina To Tackle Anti-LGBTQI Laws

Not All Hope Is Gone as these great bands attack the Diluted bigots who Do Nothing to soften The Burden of vulnerable  people... Skin Ticket. Story out of Charlotte, North Carolina:

Slipknot has taken a major stand against North Carolina’s anti-trans bathroom law.

The heavy metal band has partnered with Equality NC to fight against the law that bans trans people from using public bathrooms that coincides with their gender identity.

Prior to performing, the members of Slipknot said: ‘When we started this tour, we had reservations about playing in North Carolina because of a law recently passed there called HB2. The law halts the rights of LGBTQ people, doesn’t allow for cities to pass a living wage for the working class.

“We’ve decided to partner with Equality NC, the LGBTQ advocacy group leading the fight against this hateful bill. You can talk to Equality NC at our show about how to get involved, and get registered to vote in NC.

Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Demi Lovato are among the music acts to have boycotted the state and refused to perform there over the law. Other performers, like Cyndi Lauper, have gone to perform and donated profits to LGBTI charities. And some, like Beyoncé, have performed and offered messages of support. Cont.
