"Standard Retard" - Ann Coulter Tries (Fails) To Defend Trump's Attack On Disabled Reporter

Ann Coulter is keeping up her In Trump We Trust book tour, and when she’s not giving Donald Trump rave reviews, she’s using it to go up to bat for him over his most controversial moments.

During the conservative columnist’s appearance on Wednesday’s With All Due Respect, John Heilemann asked Coulter about the passage in her book concerning the time Trump came under fire for apparently making fun of reporter Serge Kovaleski during one of his rallies. Coulter wrote in her book that Trump “was doing a standard retard, waving his arms and sounding stupid,” instead of making fun of Kovaleski’s physical disability, and Heilemann grilled her on whether that kind of characterization is truly a legitimate excuse.

Coulter insisted that Trump wasn’t mocking Kovaleski’s condition, and she pointed to her new column, in which she argued that Trump has done similar motions and antics to make fun of political rivals at other rallies. Coulter said that the whole controversy was born from a “despicable media lie” because news agencies wouldn’t show clips from those incidents to compare with the Kovaleski bit. Cont. (Video)
