"Crime Of Stupidity" - Man Arrested For Stealing $200 Worth Of Quarters From Neighbor

Story out of Easton, Pennsylvania:

An East Allen Township man who broke into his elderly neighbor's home pleaded guilty Thursday to what his public defender called nothing more than a "crime of stupidity."

Why was 22-year-old Sammy Buskirk's burglary so stupid? Because to pull it off, he sawed a hole in the shared wall of his and his victim's twin homes on Willow Street, sneaked through it and stole $200 worth of quarters.

"I would term this basically as a crime of stupidity," public defender Anthony Rybak told Judge Craig Dally. "How could anyone think he could get away with what he's done?" Cont.
