San Francisco 49ers Donate $75,000 To Help Repeal North Carolina's Anti Trans Bill

San Francisco 49ers is making a stand against North Carolina and its new anti-LGBT bill — not just with words but with action too.
The famous football team has just donated $75,000 to North Carolina’s largest LGBT advocacy group, Equality North Carolina, in support of the repeal of the state’s recently passed House Bill 2 (HB2).
‘The San Francisco 49ers are deeply concerned about North Carolina’s recently-enacted House Bill 2, which overturned protections for LGBT people and sanctioned discrimination across the state,’ said 49ers CEO Jed York in a statement released on Tuesday. ‘HB2 does not reflect the values of our organization, of our country, or the majority of North Carolinians.’ Cont.
