A Montana woman received copies of her husband’s autopsy photos in an envelope mailed from the Yellowstone County jail, where her father-in-law is being held while awaiting sentencing for killing his son, prosecutors said.
The Yellowstone County attorney’s office is seeking a handwriting sample from Douglas Sindelar, 74, to see if he sent the photos, The Billings Gazette reported Tuesday. Sindelar was convicted of negligent homicide in the July 2015 shooting death of Wesley Sindelar during an argument.
Victoria Sindelar reported receiving an envelope on April 12 containing a color photograph of her husband’s bloody body, two pages of black and white thumbnail photos from his autopsy and a note that read: “For Your Family Album,” prosecutors said. Cont.
