Drunken Thief Leaves Candy Wrappers Trail To His Location

After a Bounty was placed on him, his bail was probably set at a 100 Grand. What a Zero. Story out of Barrie, Ontario:

Police say a candy wrapper trail led them to the arrest of an intoxicated 30-year-old theft suspect who was “passed out in the grass” in a Barrie, Ont. park after a convenience store robbery.

Barrie police responded to a report of a theft at a Mac’s Convenience store on Sunday.

Police said an employee told them the suspect had entered the store, gathered “many candy items” and attempted to leave without paying.

Investigators were allegedly able to locate the man at nearby Bayview Park, after following a “trail of candy wrappers left behind.”

“He literally unwrapped a couple of chocolate bars while he was doing it and then lay down in the park for a little rest after enjoying his tummy full of candy,” said Const. Nicole Rodgers. Cont.
