Robert De Niro vs. Donald Trump wages on. While attending the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival to accept a lifetime achievement award, the actor called the Republican presidential nominee “totally nuts” and unfit to lead America.
“I don’t know, it’s crazy that people like Donald Trump,” De Niro said, according to Reuters. “He shouldn’t even be where he is, so God help us.”
He added, “I think people now are starting to really push back. The media, they’ve given him all this attention and finally they’re starting to say, ‘Come on, Donald. This is ridiculous. This is nuts. This is insane,’ ‘cause what he’s been saying is really, totally crazy, ridiculous stuff…he’s totally nuts.” Cont. (Video)
