Man Arrested After Trying To Buy Explosives To Bring Forth “The Original Constitution”
Story out of Brentwood, New Hampshire:
An East Kingston man was arrested during an undercover FBI operation Wednesday after he allegedly purchased grenades illegally, claiming he belonged to a group that planned to bring forth “the original Constitution,” according to a federal affidavit.
Daniel E. Musso Sr., 54, is charged with receipt and possession of an unregistered firearm after he allegedly bought four grenades from an undercover FBI agent at a location in Seabrook Wednesday morning.
According to an affidavit, the FBI learned in August 2015 that Musso had allegedly provided a handwritten list of ammunition and other items he hoped to purchase from a New Hampshire-based licensed firearms dealer. The list allegedly specified 10 different ammunition calibers and the quantities of each caliber Musso intended to buy, the affidavit said. Authorities claim the list also included items such as grenades, rockets, a gas mask and a “night/infrared system.”
Musso also allegedly asked about a “C-4 explosive” and said that $100,000 to $200,000 in cash was available to buy what “we” need, the affidavit said.
