Story out of Edmonton, Alberta:
An Edmonton crook admits knocking out a hotel manager with the so-called date rape drug during a sexual tryst, stealing his master keys and later robbing two suites.
Devon Ronald Cissell, 26, pleaded guilty Tuesday to using a stupefying drug to commit a robbery, break and enter and commit theft, robbery and two breaches.
While at the manager's home on Nov. 23, 2013, Cissell put GHB in the man's drink and when the man woke up, he discovered he had been robbed of his wallet, two cell phones, a laptop, $250 cash, four rings and his 2012 Mazda.
Davies said Cissell also stole the manager's master keys for the highrise apartment hotel.
Court heard Cissell and some accomplices went to the hotel a week later and used the master keys to enter a storage area and steal two large containers of HP sauce. Cont.
