Couple Steals $790 Worth Of Groceries Over three Months

Story out of Rehoboth, Delaware:

Delaware State Troopers arrested a couple on Mother’s Day for shoplifting hundreds of dollars worth of groceries from a GIANT food store.

According to police, David Sankey, 53 and Diana Sankey, 60 began making daily trips to the GIANT store on Lighthouse Plaza Boulevard in early February. They would pay for all of the items in their cart at checkout but surveillance video revealed they were leaving the store with additional unpaid items like meats and hygiene products that they were hiding on themselves.

Loss Prevention Officers at the store determined the Sankeys managed to shoplift more than $790 in just three months. Cont.
