Indian Teen Dies After Taking Selfie With Father's Gun
India has the highest number of selfie deaths. When your population exceeds a billion people, you lead the world in everything, especially stupid. Story out of Pathankot, India:
An Indian teenager died after accidentally shooting himself with his father’s revolver while taking a gun selfie. The 15-year-old boy was rushed to the local hospital, but died due to severe head injuries.
The incident occurred at Ramandeep Singh's home in the north Indian city of Pathankot on Friday, when he tried to take a selfie while posing with his father’s licensed .32 bore revolver on his mobile phone. According to his family, he accidentally fired a shot that fatally injured him. The safety catch wasn’t in place.
India had the dubious record of having the highest number of selfie deaths in the world in 2015. This year too, there have been a string of such incidents, with two people being killed while taking a selfie in front of railway tracks, and a man being gored by the elephant he was trying to take a photograph with.
