MP Seamus O'Regan Enters Program To Live A "Alcohol-Free Lifestyle"
Seamus was a co-host on CTV's Canada AM from 2001 to 2011, then a correspondent on CTV National News:
Seamus O'Regan, the newly elected Liberal MP for St. John's South-Mount Pearl, has entered a "wellness program" so he can adopt an "alcohol-free lifestyle," according to a public message sent from his Twitter account on Sunday.
"I've decided after consultation with family that I can be most effective as a Member of Parliament by adopting an alcohol-free lifestyle," he wrote in a series of four tweets.
O'Regan said he entered the program over the holiday break, but will return to his parliamentary duties before the end of the month. Cont.
