Only Chick-fil-A In NYC Shuts Down Over Health Concerns

Three months after opening their doors, New York City’s first standalone Chick-fil-A has closed after a Department of Health inspection on Christmas Eve revealed a number of critical violations.

According to the Department of Health, the Chick-fil-A restaurant, located at 1000 Avenue of the Americas, was cited with several violations, including the facility not being “vermin proof,” issues with cold storage temperature units, and the presence of flies in the facility.

Other violations include cleaning cloths not being properly sanitized and food not being properly protected from contamination. Cont.
