Former Cop Could Face 10 years for Running Prostitution Ring

Story out of New York:

According to prosecutors, Eduardo Cornejo — who was on the force for 11 years before getting fired last month – had at least ten prostitutes working for him.

WCBS 880’s Alex Silverman reports Cornejo would drive the prostitutes to motels on Long Island, New Jersey, Staten Island and the Bronx. Cornejo allegedly would transport them right after his shift.

Court papers reveals Cornejo was caught on a wiretap talking about how he would split the profits with the prostitutes. Cornejo was allegedly heard on the wiretap saying if he were to stand outside a motel door with “a bunch of girls,” law enforcement would “know what’s up real quick.” Cont.
