Ayham Hussein, 15, was arrested by militants after they allegedly spotted him enjoying the music in the stronghold Mosul, Iraq.
He was forced to face an Islamist ‘court’ and was then sentenced to death by public execution.
A Nineveh media centre spokesperson told ARA News that Hussein was captured by the jihadis ‘while listening to pop music at the grocery store of his father in the Nabi Younis marketplace in western Mosul.’
The execution is believed to be the first for listening to music in the city and has outraged many of the locals. Cont.
