Man Charged After Selling iPhone Boxes Filled With Rice

Story out of Toronto, Ontario:

Police in Toronto are looking for more victims after a man was charged with fraud for allegedly selling an iPhone box filled with rice, instead of a phone, to people on the online classifieds website Kijiji.

Police say two victims have come forward, saying they met up with a man in northwest Toronto and paid cash for what they believed to be an iPhone 6 in a sealed box.

The victims allege that when they later opened the box, it was filled with rice — and no phone. Cont.
