Story out of Mt. Healthy, Ohio:
Police in the Tri-State and as far away as Cleveland are looking for a "serial" Rogaine thief. A man captured on security cameras has been spotted stealing items from drug store shelves but seems to be focusing on Rogaine for both men and women.
Police said the Rogaine bandit has been targeting mostly Walgreens stores like the one in Mount Healthy. Detectives said he stole $800 worth of merchandise, mostly the hair growing aide. As it turns out, investigators said he has been a very busy man. The suspect was well dressed and while he is obviously bald, police don't think he's personally using the Rogaine.
Police said the suspect will usually leave the packaging behind, unknown to store employees until well after he is gone. The retail price of Rogaine is just under $50, so it could be purchased for much less on Craigslist or a flea market. Police said this was the first time they have seen the hair growth drug as the target of a thief. Cont.
